Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and had the opportunity to recharge batteries and do the resolutions for 2018.
In my case, since the new year has started, my eldest daughter is asking me every day for her birthday party of this year. I tried to explain that her birthday is only in June and first we'll have daddy's birthday, sister's birthday, mummy's birthday, cousins birthday... but I think this is too much for her. Her answer is always the same: 'Can it be tomorrow? Can I invite all my friends from school?'.
Although she has to wait almost half a year, she gave me the idea for my first post of the year: birthday party themes for 2018. Minnie Mouse, Frozen and princesses from Disney are always some of the favourite themes, but I also like unicorns, flamingos and ballerinas for little girls and vintage cars, aviation and dinosaurs for little boys.
However, I preferred to choose a theme that suits both girls and boys. That's why I picked a "Peter Rabbit Inspired Birthday Party", based on the character created by Beatrix Potter in 1902.
I also loved to find flowers and other animals like butterflies and the BEE on the birthday cake to reinforce the garden theme! A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!
It makes us dream of warm Spring weather and the english countryside.
Vegetables and organic food were also put on the table, so all Peter Rabbit's fans could enjoy rabbit healthy food like him!
I always had fun reading and watching the adventures of Peter Rabbit on CBeebies - BBC, so I cannot wait to organize a birthday party like this and watch the movie that is coming out. "Peter Rabbit" directed by Will Gluck will be released in the UK on March 16th. Watch the trailer here.
